From IP to investable global platform
Engineering technology business, Offshore Survival Systems, originally launched with a vehicle performing autonomous rescues in dangerous marine environments like windfarms and oil fields.
It’s an area of explosive growth, rich with investment and stakeholder interest from worldwide energy companies and governments, but how do you turn IP into a sustainable business proposition with global investment potential?
We created a positioning that showcased how the tech didn’t just extend human capabilities – it operated beyond them – mitigating the hostilities faced in pursuit of progress and enabling our planet’s pioneers to safely operate in all its furthest reaches.
Reborn as Zelim (zero limits), we went beyond the nuts and bolts of engineering features, to a story about harnessing human ingenuity to beat the magnitude of Mother Nature, and in doing so, safekeep our partner’s productivity, promises, reliability and reputation – as well as life itself.
With a unicorn valuation in sight, putting the idea ahead of the execution was crucial to unlocking additional value.
“NOKAMO’s work not only allowed us to move beyond just talking about tech, it also provided a future-proof business-forward platform from which we can further evangelise.” Sam Mayall, CEO
