NOKAMO Consulting are delighted to have been announced as the first marketing-focussed finalist to be shortlisted in the Best New Consultancy category at the MCA Awards.

Created by the Management Consultancy Association over 25 years ago, to recognise the huge value of consulting to both the private and public sector, the MCA awards are judged by hand-picked C-suite representatives from companies like McKinsey and Deloitte as well as government, academia, industry bodies and media, including the BBC and The Sunday Times.

The Best New Consultancy category specifically looks for businesses that demonstrate client focus, delivery excellence, commitment to their people as well as a strong understanding of how to build, lead and grow a successful firm.

Since launching in 2019, NOKAMO Consulting has delivered brand strategy for domestic, European and global clients across a range of sectors and business sizes, from start-ups, PE firms and SMES, to billion-pound conglomerates. Projects have spanned meditech, cyber security, finance, FMCG, luxury goods, legal services, building energy tech and automotive.

“Our economics before aesthetics approach to marketing consultancy challenges conventional orthodoxy,” says CEO & Founder Ian Humphris, “prioritizing brand-centric strategies that align departments and galvanize the entire organization behind a single attacking principle. It’s one that’s proven financially effective across diverse industries, significantly enhancing our clients’ market positions and operational dynamics.”

NOKAMO Marketing Director, Sal Thomas, continues; “We’re now at the point where the entire marketing cultural landscape is underpinned by awards that recognise creativity, not commercial contribution. To step away from that carnival and instead be recognised by a prestigious organisation geared towards creating bottom-line impact is a genuinely huge achievement.”

All finalists will now attend interviews with a panel made up of senior executives, before the overall winner is announced at a ceremony taking place in London on Tuesday 15th October.
